Synopsis: The wireless becomes disabled when I close the circuit between pin 12 and GND (the one next to RST) with an LED.

How to reproduce:
1. Run UDPApp sketch
2. Make sure you can ping the Yellowjacket board
3. Connect pin 12 and GND with an LED
4. Try pinging the board again

Cane anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong, or confirm that they've seen the same thing?

On the other AsyncLabs products digital pin 12 is the SPI MISO pin; assuming pin 12 on the YJ is the same then you are effectively killing your SPI bus and making it so the processor cannot communicate with the WiFi module. Go give the wiki a read, try lighting your LED on via a non critical pin, etc.

Could you point me to the more detailed portion of the wiki? All I can find for the Yellowjacket is this page http://www.asynclabs.com/wiki/index.php ... Jacket_1.0 . It lists only the high level specs.

Unfortunately the YJ is less than well documented. I have yet to play with one so I cannot help out here. As a start take a look at the WiShield docs and apply them to the YJ.
