BlackWidow Project

Postby BlackWidow1 » Mon Apr 26, 2010 6:03 am

Hey there,

We have a problem concerning a programm we have to do for school. The problem is we don't know how to configure the Blackwidow so  , that we are able to speak with it over a little webserver. We know how to set up the Webserver but we don't know how to bring the Blackwidow into the network. (SSID ???)

Over this webserver we want to steer 3 leds.

Best Regards,

What part are you having trouble with?

You will need a DMZ and port forwarding to make the BlackWidow visible to the world wide web. So if you are using a school access point? then you'll need to speak with the systems administrator and explain what you are trying to do.

The SSID is the "name" of the access point. You should be able to see the AP name if you "view wireless networks" using a laptop or mac/pc.

Thanks for the quick answer.

We need the Blackwidow only on the local network. I have here an Linksys AP to test. But how should i configure port forwarding (which port?) and how does the AP know from the Blackwidow. DHCP??

Best Regards
