BlackWidow is ready to go! You can pick it up from our store now. It should be available from distributors in the upcoming weeks. YellowJacket needs a couple extra days for some additional testing, and we'll have it up in the store by the end of the week. We're waiting to get some USB breakout boards from SparkFun, as this will be required in order to program the board. One question we get asked frequently is what's going on with the WiShield. Well, we've been working on a refresh to 2.0, and now we're ready to unveil what we've been doing. Ok, so on quick inspection, other than lots of surface mount components, it looks pretty much the same. So what gives? Well, just north of the WiFi module is a new component, a 16Mbit serial flash! This should give tons of room to store data, including webpages! And even better is that we've been able to successfully test running the WiFi and accessing the serial flash consecutively. This means you can now serve pages on the fly from the serial flash. On top of this, we've decided to eat the cost of the flash, and maintain the same $55 price point. WiShield should be available in the next few days as well. Stay tuned!
