Hi,

I just moved and am living with new roommates and a new router. I've been trying to get my wishield happy in its new environment and the red light illuminates and stays "connected" but I'm unable to ping the wishield, get the simpleserver Hello World page to load, or get a post through to Twitter. My router is a Netgear WNR843M which is neither confirmed nor denied as a compatible AP.

Any help is appreciated!

I have the same issue with a NetGear WNDR3700. Once the WiShield's red light illuminates, its MAC shows up on the router's "Attached Devices" GUI page, but without an IP address listed. Disabling encryption doesn't help. If I simply change the WiShiled SSID, It will connect to the Linksys router sitting on the other side of the house.

So, I'm no help, but they say misery loves company.

Bummer. My little guy worked with Linksys too before moving. Looks like I'll be picking up a new router.
